What is DNS Clustering?
DNS Clustering allows you to synchroize all the DNS record between 2 servers.
<span style=\'color:red\'>What is the Role of CPanel Here?
Cpanel has replaced their old DNS Master system with DNS Clustering from 8.9 onward versions of CPanel/WHM.
Take example of Server A & B. We're enabling DNS Synchronization on Server A.
Once enabled, we are feeding root userid, password and remote access key of server B in DNS Clustering interface of Server A.
This enables trust relationship between server A & B. Any DNS changes made on server A is now synchronized with server B.
This will only configure the system to send dns changes to all servers you add to the cluster and choose to synchronize with. If you are expecting server B to send back DNS Changes to Server A, you need to configure DNS Synchronization settings on server B.
