First we need to understand what Apache Tomcat is: Apache Tomcat is an open-source web server released in 1998 and a servlet container developed by the Apache Software Foundation. It provides a platform for Java-based web applications, allowing them to be executed and managed on a server. Tomcat is widely used for hosting Java servlets, JavaServer Pages (JSP), and other Java-based web technologies.



There are some alternatives of Apache Tomcat are given below:
