Hi

I am new to this web hosting business and have purchased a domain name at 123-reg.co.uk and hosting from your goodselves.

I have managed to upload my site to the public_html folder via ftp but am a little confused now. I know I need to link the domain name to the hosting and I think this involves the nameservers. I know how to change these and have done so but so far nothing has happened. Plus I can't receive my pop3 emails anymore.

Does anyone have a simple step by step guide for a web novice? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Usually, it take 12-24 hours for name servers to fully propagate.
Provide us the domain name to assist you further in this issue.

Hi thanks for looking into it for me, but when I type in www.xiiixiii.net into my browser, I still get the 123-reg holding page. Do I need to remove something from the public_html folder to see my site?

I cleared my caches and there it is. Thanks very much for your help.
