regenerate .htaccess file in WordPress

I deleted my .htaccess for some reason, when Wordpress regenerate it?

WordPress will automatically regenerate the .htaccess file but you can also do it by yourself.
Access your WordPress dashboard, then go to
Settings >> Permalinks
, and click "
Save Changes
."
It will regenerate the .htaccess file with the correct default rules.

I deleted my .htaccess for some reason, when Wordpress regenerate it? >> If you deleted your .htaccess file and you have set up some redirects, deleting it will cause those redirects to stop working.
