Following are the steps to set the limit attachment size in smartermail?
1) Login into the SmarterMail as admin.
2) Click on settings.
3) Click on Protocol Settings.
4) Click SMTP In Tab.
5) Edit Max Message Size and make sure that one has to add 50% to the desire size because of the inflation due the MIME Encoding.
6) Click Save button to save the updates.
