    Hello wisly.k,

Sometimes it happens that you want to regain your deleted files. Even if you delete any file or folder it goes into the trash and still remains in the file manager of cPanel, which you can restore later. Thus, below-given is the process of restoring files in cPanel’s file manager.

In order to understand the restoring process of the deleted files in cPanel, you need to follow the steps below,
    • Firstly, log in to your cPanel account.
    • Then, select the File Manager option under the Files category.
    • Next, you will enter the file manager, and click on the View Trash button from the top right side of the screen.
    • Thus, you will be able to see the deleted files there.
    • Now, select the files you want to restore and click on the Restore button.
    • Then, It will ask whether to store the files in their original location.
    • Lastly, click on the Restore files button and it will restore the files to their original location.

Thus, by following the above ways the restoration of deleted files in cPanel is carried out. If you still face any issues, you can update them here.

I can provide you with information on how to restore deleted files in cPanel manually. Here are the steps you need to follow:
      1. Log in to cPanel: First, you need to log in to your cPanel account using your username and password.
      2. Navigate to the backup section: Once you are logged in, you need to navigate to the "Backup" section of cPanel. You can do this by using the search function at the top of the cPanel interface and searching for "Backup."
      3. Choose the appropriate backup option: Once you are in the "Backup" section, you will see a few different backup options. Depending on your hosting provider, you may have access to daily, weekly, or monthly backups. Choose the backup option that contains the files you need to restore.
      4. Select the files to restore: Once you have chosen the appropriate backup option, you need to select the files you want to restore. You can do this by clicking on the "File Manager" option within the backup section. This will allow you to browse through the files in the backup and select the ones you need to restore.
      5. Restore the files: Once you have selected the files you want to restore, you need to click on the "Restore" button. This will initiate the restoration process, and the files will be restored to their original location.

It is important to note that restoring files from a backup should be done with caution. You should ensure that you are restoring the correct files and that you are not overwriting any important data in the process. Additionally, you should always keep backups of your files in a secure location to ensure that you can restore them if needed.
