Cannot change theme / skin in CP

I know this has come up before, but the resolutions presented did not work for me.
I changed the theme/skin of CP to rvskin and I don't like it. but it won't let me change it back.
I'm not sure what I has previously, x2 or x3...

The rvskin changer option LOOKS like it is changing the theme, but it never does.

Anyone else?
