Migrated to a new domain without losing search traffic

Has anyone successfully migrated to a new domain without losing search traffic? What steps did you take?

I moved my site last year and didn’t lose much traffic. My main tip: set up 301 redirects from every old URL to the new one.

Absolutely possible! I made sure to announce the change on my site and social channels and updated all my backlinks (where possible). Also, don’t forget to update your internal links

One thing I learned: patience! After the migration, I monitored my analytics daily and fixed any crawl errors that showed up in Search Console.

For me, communication was key. I informed my regular visitors through newsletters and social media about the domain change to avoid confusion. Also, I made sure my SSL certificate was properly set up on the new domain to keep things secure. These little details helped maintain user trust and SEO stability.
