LiteSpeed vs. Apache: Which is Better for Budget Hosting?

    VPS Hosting
Hey everyone, I'm looking into cheap hosting options and noticed that some providers use LiteSpeed while others stick with Apache. Which one offers better efficiency and performance for a low-cost plan?

I’ve used both, and LiteSpeed definitely offers better speed and efficiency, especially for shared hosting. It handles more traffic with fewer resources, so even budget hosting plans run faster. But some hosts charge extra for LiteSpeed, so that’s something to consider.

Apache is more common and works fine for most small websites. It’s free and open-source, which keeps costs low for hosting providers. If you’re on a tight budget, you’ll probably find more affordable hosting plans using Apache.

Not all hosting providers are the same! Some hosting companies actually offer LiteSpeed for free with very affordable plans, making it an excellent option for those who want better performance without stretching their budget.
