This happens more often than people think. Even on the same shared hosting plan, websites perform differently because each site is built and optimized differently. One site might have lightweight pages, compressed images, proper caching, etc., while another might be loading 20+ external scripts. The hosting is the same, but the website behavior is not.

I agree. I’ve seen two clients on the same hosting package get completely different speed scores. One had optimized images + minified CSS/JS + a simple theme. The other installed 30 plugins and heavy page builders.

So it’s usually how the site is built, not the host, all the time.
