Migrate a WordPress site to a new host?

    VPS Hosting
Can my new WordPress hosting provider migrate my site, which has around 7-8 GB of data? Can I ask them for it?

Select a WordPress hosting provider that meets your website's needs. Consider factors like security, speed, and support before making a decision.
    • Use a cPanel or FTP to download all site files and use phpMyAdmin to export your WordPress database.
    • Connect to your new host via FTP and upload your backed-up files to the root folder.
    • Create a new database on the new host, then import your old database using phpMyAdmin.
    • Update your wp-config.php file with the new database details.
    • Update the nameserver to point your domain to the new host.

After doing all things, check your site’s functionality, clear the cache, and ensure everything works properly before making it live.

      >> Yes, so many popular WordPress hosting providers offer site migration. If you are not a tech-savvy person, please take the help of your hosting provider.

If your provider doesn't offer migration, you can use plugins or migrate manually via FTP and phpMyAdmin.
