How can I check if my website has been flagged for spam by Google?

You can check this in your Google Search Console account. Just go to the Manual Actions section under Security & Manual Action—if your site has been flagged for spam, you'll see a notification explaining the issue.

Check your site for site:yourwebsite.com in any browser. It will show you all index pages where you can easily find spam links.
