Is it possible to setup a requisition validation workflow form in WP?

Form validation is a technical procedure to ensure that user-provided data is accurate. If the action is activated, users will receive alerts when they don't supply precise information, or when they do; the form will be validated.


Why Form validation is important?

With form validation, we can stop malicious people from abusing web forms. Insufficient or improper data may lead to attacks such as cross-site scripting, SQL injections, and header injections. It gives you proper and needful data.


Setup steps for validation forms

For validating forms, first, you need to install a plugin. Follow the below steps:
Go to WordPress dashboard > Add New > Search your plugin > click on install button > click on Active button.

Now look at your sidebar; you’ll find your plugin.
Here we have used Fluent Forms. They provide free and premium both services.

Step - 1: Create a form

Look at your sidebar; you’ll find WP Fluent Forms. Select Add a New Form button.

• There are so many built-in templates. We choose New Blank Form option.
• Add your name to the form.
• Now you have so many input field options, add it to your form as your requirement.

• If you want any changes to your field, you can customize the area; for that, click on the pencil icon for customization.
• You can make more changes, like adding an asterisk sign for your mandatory fields, margin, padding, borders, and colors.

Step - 2: Configure your form

Click on the Settings & Integrations tab.
This section configures the quiz settings, landing page, email notifications, other confirmations, custom CSS/JS, marketing & CRM integrations, etc.






Step - 3: Set the form validation

Scroll down to the Advanced Form Validation section on the Form Settings page, and then tap the Enable Advanced Form Validation button to configure the form validation option.

• Here you can set the condition for every field with Validation Type and Error Message.
• For example, you can set validation for names that each name should be unique; a password must be strong, phone number should have ten digits likewise.

Step - 4: Publish form

Go to Dashboard > Page >Add New button for displaying your form on the page.
