Web Disk is a protocol that enables you to access files on your hosting account directly from your local computer. This protocol is also known as WebDAV. With Web Disk, you can easily manage your files through simple drag-and-drop actions, as if they were stored on your personal computer or local device.
To set up a Web Disk account in cPanel, follow the below-mentioned steps :


1) Sign in to your cPanel account.

2) Click on the Web Disk icon in the Files section.

3) Scroll down to the Main Web Disk Account section and click Configure Client Acces under the Actions tab.

4) Select Operating System (for your personal computer).

Important Note: The system may automatically identify your computer's operating system.

5) Click on Download Configuration Script.

6) Save the file to your local computer by clicking on Save File from the File Download pop-up

7) On your computer, open and run the file.

You can now view & access website files from your personal computer and easily transfer files by dragging and dropping them from your local drive to your website.
