To start the migration process, you need to submit a support ticket. It will help us gather essential details, such as the URL of your control panel or FTP host and login credentials for the source server. Once we receive the support ticket, our migration team will start working on it, and you will be notified once the migration is complete.
We can offer the migration service if your VPS is pre-configured with any control panel.
If you purchase the VPS Hosting with WHM/cPanel and have the same panel in your previous VPS Hosting, we can proceed with the cPanel-to-cPanel migration.
With our free migration service, you can migrate up to 10 cPanel accounts free of cost. For more than 10 accounts, you can proceed with our premium migration service.
If you purchase the VPS Hosting with Plesk Panel and have the same panel in your previous VPS, we can proceed with the Plesk-to-Plesk migration.
You need full server access with your current provider for the Plesk-to-Plesk migration.
With our free migration service, you can migrate up to 10 Plesk accounts free of cost. For more than 10 accounts, you can proceed with our premium migration service.
If you purchase a VPS with other control panels (including free control panels like ISPConfig, CWP, Ajenti, Webmin, etc.), we can offer the free migration service for up to two 2 hours. You can proceed with the premium migration service if the data migration requires more time.
The last step requires pointing the domain to AccuWeb Hosting's VPS. Customers can register the private name servers for their domains or use the nameservers from their domain registrar to update the DNS records. If needed, we can assist in this process. Any changes in the DNS records may take about 24 to 48 hours for propagation.
However, website transfers can take up to 5 business days; our highly skilled and efficient team can provide support with this process. The time required for migration may also depend on factors such as the size of the website, any limitations set by the previous host, connectivity, and other external variables.

We provide free website migration with Windows VPS; you can take advantage of this service if you have chosen Plesk or SolidCP as your control panel.
If you purchase a Windows VPS with Plesk Panel and have the Plesk Panel (same edition) in your previous Windows VPS, we can proceed with the Plesk-to-Plesk migration. You will need to have full server access to current hosting provider.
If you have any paid licenses, you may need to opt for those licenses from respective software vendors.
Before we start migrating, it requires us to evaluate the accounts, resources, and amount of data. You can share the necessary details via a support ticket. After evaluation, we will start the migration process and update you via the support ticket.
On completion of the migration process, it is required to review the migrated data before pointing websites to your VPS. This will ensure that there is no downtime due to any website.
If you purchase a Windows VPS with the SolidCP control panel, we need to proceed with a manual migration process.
Before we start the migration, you must create the necessary hosting accounts, websites, and their respective databases.
Then, you will have to share the information about databases and their associated websites. With manual migration, it would not be possible to migrate emails. However, our team will migrate the web content and databases.
Before we start migrating, it requires us to evaluate the accounts, resources, and amount of data. You can share the necessary details via a support ticket. After evaluation, we will start the migration process and update you via the support ticket.
On completion of the migration process, it is required to review the migrated data before pointing websites to your VPS. This will ensure that there is no downtime due to any website.

The customer must initiate this Free Migration request within 7 days of initial sign-up.
The free migration offer applies to VPS with a pre-configured control panel; it is not available for a VPS without any control panel.
We will complete the migration as soon as possible, which could take up to 5 business days. If processing the migration requires more time, we will inform the customer while receiving the request.
While migrating the data through a VPS from a free control panel, the migration process might get affected by the control panel restrictions, bugs, version compatibility, etc.; in that case, we will not be able to continue the migration task. The customer should go with the manual migration with our Premium Migration support.
The websites that change continuously and are dynamic in content (shopping sites, discussion forums, etc.) often require the site's placement into maintenance mode and careful scheduling to avoid data loss. Such websites that involve maintenance mode or scheduling of migration time are not eligible for the Free Migration and will need to proceed with the Premium Migration service.
Redirects added to a .htaccess file, or the prior hosting provider's control panel will not migrate as part of this service. The customer will need to manage such a setup with the help of their developer or webmaster.
To avail of this free migration service, the customer must create a support ticket and provide the previous hosting provider’s control panel and database login details. It will ensure a speedy transfer process. Also, the customer will have to provide all the required assistance about contacting their previous hosting provider in case of any technical problem.
In such cases, the customer will need to coordinate with their previous hosting provider and obtain all the requested details for our technical department to manage the transfer process for the account proficiently.
Please note that the customer must keep the account active with their existing hosting provider until it is fully transferred to AccuWeb Hosting and the domain is pointed to our services.
