During the domain name transfer, some of your emails will be delivered to your old hosting account and some will be delivered at new hosting account. Once the transfer process is completed, all your emails will be delivered to the new account only.

Have a little confusion here .... when Email is configured to your server, then why some emails would be delivered to old hosting account?

    Hi,

If you signup for windows 2003 starter plan - annual plan "Domain Transfer" is offered completely free.
For $4.00 plan you can purchase domain transfer additionally for as low as $8.99 only.

Regarding the domain transfer time it takes from 2 business days to 6 business days depending on your approval. If you can immediately approve all the domain transfer related requests it can be transferred in less than 2 days. (Just make sure that your domain name is in ACTIVE status. Only ACTIVE domains can be transferred. Domains in LOCKED, REGISTRAR-HOLD, REGISTRAR-LOCK status cannot be transferred to the new registrar. To check the status of your domain name, Replace domainname.com with your original domain name.)

started a topic How to change service provider?

    How to change service provider?

I currently have a provider (domain direct).
the services I have there are:
    * domain hosting: DOMAINNAME.com (i can change a, cname, mx, etc. records via web interface)
    * email account: (including webmail and POP3 access)
    * email forwarding: for all other email adresses
    * web forwarding to my external webspace

Additionally I have a webspace at

    What I expect is:
    * domaintransfer from my domain-direct account
    * the seame features at domain direct
    * a webpage under

    Now my questions:
Do I get all this with your "windows starter plan" (USD 4 / month)?
How long does the domaintransfer take?
is there an interruption in service? (especially my email?) How long will I not be able to receive emails?

    Best regards,
    a potential customer.

pls. reply to my email address.
