Assuming that you have already obtained your SSL certificate, the next step is to install it on your Microsoft 2019 server. The process for doing this will vary depending on which type of certificate you have, but we will walk you through the most common scenario below.

    1. Log in to your Microsoft 2019 server.

    2. Open the Server Manager console and select the "Add Roles and Features" option.

    3. Click through the wizard, ensuring that the ".NET Framework 3.5 Features" and "Web Server (IIS)" options are selected.

    4. Once the installation is complete, open IIS Manager and navigate to the server where you wish to install your SSL certificate.

    5. Double-click on the "Server Certificates" icon.

    6. In the Actions pane, click "Complete Certificate Request…."

    7. Select the certificate file you received from your CA and give it a friendly name. Then, choose a location to store the certificate and click "OK."

    8. Your SSL certificate is now installed on your Microsoft 2019 server!
