Well that is incorrect.... With the latest tools from Microsoft like WEB PLATFORM Installer you can easily install popular forums on windows servers (on main domain or sub domain).

dear i have a site developed in dot net and hosted on a dedicated window server, i want to create a sub domain and have to install forum in the domain but I were asked by some people that forums can't be installed in window hosting.
is it right? if yes then suggest me something....
