    Receive genuine messages in my spam folder.

    Hello,
    A legitimate email was flagged as suspicious and sent to the Junk folder.
    How can I instruct a spam filtering system not to mark that email as spam?

    Hey Annie,

    Legitimate emails are often classified as suspicious and moved to the Spam folders. This can occur for many reasons, including;
    Your email provider's spam filters may have identified specific keywords or phrases in the email that triggered the suspicion; the email sender's domain or IP address may be on a blacklist or considered suspicious by your email provider, or The email content or format may have been structured in a way that resembles phishing or scam emails.

    To ensure that this doesn't happen again in the future, add the sender's email address to your contacts, which will help instruct your email provider not to mark their emails as spam.

    Secondly, Mark the email as "not junk" or "not spam," which will help train your email provider's filters to identify similar legitimate emails in the future.

    Additionally, it's a good idea to frequently check your Spam folder to ensure significant emails are not missed. If you find any legitimate emails in the Spam folder, you can move them to your inbox or mark them as "Not Spam" to help prevent similar emails from being filtered out in the future.
