Definition of DDNS:-

• Dynamic DNS is a method that keeps DNS records automatically updated when the IP address is changed.
• DNS protocol translates user-friendly domain names into their relevant IP addresses.
• Dynamic DNS is used in large networks that host internal services and also uses their own internal DNS and DHCP servers.
• When we compare, our home network uses NAT networks located on the internal network. And it’s not accessible from the Internet.
• Using the DDNS, users can create hostnames that constantly use their router’s current IP address in their home network.

Uses of a DDNS:-

2. Remote access enables utilizing resources from remote computers, file servers, and cameras.
3. DDNS setups a secure proxy connection for VPN
4. We can run our website and the web server from our home.
5. Security appliance manufacturers also use DDNS, which is even required for IP-based security appliances.
