Problem with Macintosh and Outlook Express email client

Hello All,

I have tried to setup the email account on email client with Mac OS. I am able to receive the email but I can not able to send it. When I tried to send an email getting below mentioned error message:

Error Message:

Can not send the message using the server 'mail.domainname'

The server response was: <mail.domainname> recipient address must contain a domain.

Use the pop-up menu below to try a different outgoing mail server. All messages will use this server until you Quit Mail or change your network settings.

Please look into this to help me to fix this issue. Inputs on this are most appreciated!
