Yes, AVG is best but every person having there own experience with the anti-virus but I like to recommend every one while installing anti-virus on your machine or server make sure that you have purchased the license from respective antivirus vendor ....

i think you have to install Microsoft security essentials
it is the best anti virus for your system i am also using this on my system and it is working properly.
