        To backup your website is not difficult. You can do it even from Cpanel of your web-hosting.

                Some hosts provide one click back ups which will allow you to download the entire site including any databases, mailing lists, emails, logs, etc. in .zip or .tar.gz format.

                These back ups can generally be accessed with WinZip or another zip utility, but in most instances you won’t need to unzip them. If you want to restore a back up, you should be able to upload it and restore it from the cPanel.

                  Everyone should backup their sites regularly! It's quick and easy and will give you peace of mind. Login into cPanel (www.yourdomain.com/securecontrolpanel) and follow this instructional video. (It's a bluehost tutorial, but you get the idea)



                  Then keep your files in a safe place. You should keep your files in several places just in case. (Home, Work and somewhere offsite)

                          Web hosting backups are absolutely essential if you are using a shared server. There are many instances where a single account of a shared hosting server has crashed the entire server.
