The SaaS web hosting service is usually thought of as an inexpensive way for the business organizations to acquire the same benefits of commercially licensed and internally operated software.

SaaS hosting is a service that helps production present software to clients in new and successful ways. It is the method industry set up their SaaS products on remote servers for sale to clients.

It is generally supposed that there are three basic types of cloud computing, viz., Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS). SaaS is software that is developed and hosted by the SaaS vendor and which the end user accesses over the Internet. Unlike traditional applications that users install on their computers or servers, SaaS software is installed by the vendor and runs on computers in the vendor’s data center. Well known examples are QuickBooks, Peachtree, ACT! CRM, Windows Server, MS SQL Server, etc.
