    Do you have any server firewall installed on your VPS? If yes then you can open ports from there.

      John brings up a great point. This is totally dependent on if you have a firewall or not.

        How to open a port on serve

        I need to open my port...i am playing several mmorpg game..I need to open my ports for this Ip 178.150.124.135.. port need to open 7777,2106,10241,80...PLease reply..if i can not access this port then what use for triolan..??or otherwise i decide to disconnect triolan....

          Hello,
          if you are using the Linux server then use this command

          iptables -A INPUT -m state --state NEW -m tcp -p tcp --dport 21(Replace your port number) -j ACCEPT

            To open port on server you must have root permissions first.
            If you have that then you can add your port numbers to firewall configuration file to make them open.

              First, right-click “Inbound Rules” and select “New Rule…” Choose the type of rule to setup. We are defining a specific Port number. Type the port number your application uses, and choose TCP or UDP protocol (most applications use TCP).
