Missing the "Update" button from WordPress

I Have encountered a situation where the "Update" button is missing while editing a webpage. It will perplex and leave me feeling helpless, especially when I am ready to save the changes and move on to other tasks.

I am searching for a solution but haven't succeeded in finding one. Please share your experience, and Help me find a solution to this problem.

I understand how frustrating it will be to encounter issues like a missing "Update" button while editing a webpage in WordPress. There can be several reasons why this might happen, but here are a few common solutions you can try:

    Disable conflicting plugins:
Sometimes, a conflict between plugins can cause the "Update" button to disappear. Try disabling your plugins individually and check if the button reappears after each deactivation. This lets you identify if a particular plugin is causing the issue.

    Switch to a default theme:
If you have recently switched or updated your theme, the theme may be causing the problem. Temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme, such as Twenty Twenty-One, and see if the "Update" button appears. If it does, it indicates that the issue is with your theme.

    Clear your browser cache:
Sometimes, the browser cache can cause display issues. Clearing the cache may help resolve the problem.

Check you have the Required access to make changes:
If you are not the author or an administrator, you might not have the required access to make changes. To check the permission, log into your WordPress admin area and go to "Users" > "All Users." Locate your user account and check the role assigned to you. Administrators have full editing privileges by default, while other roles may have limitations. Contact the administrator or an authorized user to grant you the necessary permissions if needed.

    Check for JavaScript errors:
Look for any JavaScript errors in the console tab. If you find any errors related to scripts used by WordPress or plugins, try disabling the corresponding plugins and check if the "Update" button returns.

    Increase PHP memory limit:
Sometimes, a low PHP memory limit can prevent WordPress from functioning correctly. You can also modify your wp-config.php file to increase the memory limit.

    Update WordPress:
Confirm that you are using the most recent version of WordPress. Outdated versions can sometimes have compatibility issues. Update WordPress to the latest version and see if the problem persists.
