I usually use a private computer, but sometimes I have to use a public one as well. This always scares me as I use the "remember me" option for WordPress login, which allows me to avoid signing in whenever I visit the website. It means that the next time anyone visits my site, they can access the dashboard right away without having to go to the login page again. So, I am looking for a way to disable "Remember me" from my WordPress login.

Hello Danny,
Yes, it's a good idea to disable the "Remember Me" option for security purposes if you sometimes have to use a public computer
Here is the Easiest way to disable "Remember me" from WordPress login.- First, Login to your WordPress Dashboard
- Navigate to Plugin and Click on Add New.
- In the available search box, type Remember Me Controls.
- Install and activate the "Remember Me Controls" plugin.
- After activating the plugin, Click Settings on the left-hand in the admin panel, then choose Remember Me. The primary settings page will be opened.
- Under that check the checkbox next to the "Disable the "Remember Me" feature?" box.
- Click the "Save Changes" button to save your changes.
That's it! You have successfully removed the "Remember Me" option. Check your WordPress login screen after logging out. There won't be a Remember Me option anymore.
