- Go to Appearance > Customize in your WordPress dashboard.
- Look for an option that controls the widget area. This could be in a section called "Layout," "Widgets," or something similar.
- If you find an option to disable the widget area, toggle it off and save your changes.
Secondly, If you're comfortable with editing code, you can remove the widget area by editing your theme's files.
If you're not comfortable with code, try installing a plugin like the Widget Disable plugin.
- After you've activated the plugin, navigate to Appearance >> Disable Widgets.
- Check the boxes next to the widgets you want to disable and hide in the Widgets section.
- Click Save Changes to remove the selected widgets from your widget list.
