WordPress permalink that adds 2 is caused due to the following: you might have the same slug as another post, so WordPress automatically appends a 2 to ensure that it has a unique slug. Items in the trash will also cause this issue. To resolve, either change the URL of your post or permanently delete the duplicate slug which is trashed.
A 301 redirect will ensure that if a user types an old URL into the browser or clicks on an old URL, it will automatically redirect to a 301, as you specified, to its parent page.
You need to change the existing URL that adds 2 or remove the same URL slug to get rid of the 301 redirects.
