How is Windows Server different from regular Windows?

I need to know the difference between Windows and Windows servers. Can anyone tell me about it?

There are some key differences between Windows servers and Windows.

Windows Server is cloud-optimized and can provide up to 24TB of RAM. It is more than enough for most users, but enterprises need even more power. Windows 10 Pro offers 2TB of RAM, sufficient for all but the largest businesses - which would be overwhelmed with only two CPU sockets and 64 cores.

Windows are mainly used for analysis and other work at offices, schools, etc. However, Windows Server is what is needed to run services across a specific network. A desktop choice comes with Windows Server, and it's suggested to establish a Windows Server without GUI instead of running it with the GUI in order to decrease the costs of running the server. IIS on Windows Server is different from IIS on Windows because it can be managed by remote management when the client OS isn't available.

The server OS default prioritizes background apps but can be configured as desired. Likewise, the client OS will prioritize foreground apps by default but can also be configured as desired.

To use Windows 10, you'll need a graphical user interface. This is not the case for Windows Server. While the server operating system does not require a GUI to be utilized, it is always an option. You can install Windows Server in either of two forms - Server Core or Desktop Experience. Installing only what you need helps make managing your operations easier and reduce how much space will be used on your device.

If services are only permitted to run on the server OS (such as DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and PKI), they will only be installed if a server OS is chosen.
