Email forwarding not working in SmarterMailWe have set the email forwarding in Smartermail however, it was working on all domains except one domain and getting the logs as mentioned below.

Problem: We have set the email forwarding in Smartermail however it was working on all domain except one domain(abc.com) and getting the logs as mentioned below.[2015.01.19] 10:55:53 [XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX][58917274] cmd: RCPT TO:<[email protected]>

From the investigation, we found that the recipient domain on which emails were being forwarded was hosted in same smarter mail server however it was not using the smartermail service and no email accounts were created.Since, both sender and recipient domain both were hosted on same mail server, SmarterMail was trying to deliver emails locally. This issue was fixed by removing the recipient mail domain from SmarterMail.
Note:- We recommended to use email scrubbing service before starting an email campaign.
