However, you must follow the below methods to understand how to upgrade the contact information and preferences in cPanel. The settings might differ according to the set-up your hosting provider has made.

• Firstly, log in to your cPanel account.
• Then, click on the Contact Information sub-option under the Preferences option.
• Now, upgrade your email address if you wish to change it.

Note: It is suggested not to use an email address kept by your cPanel account. Because when your server faces issues, It might fail to receive emails.

• Nextly, In the second option, you can enter another email address for receiving account notifications.
• Then, If you change your contact email address, you must change the password.
• Now, select the desired checkboxes under the Contact Preferences option to notify you.
• Lastly, click on the Save button.
