    What is KVM in Linux

Since I am new to Linux servers, I am unfamiliar with KVM. and how it works.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hii Clay,

KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) is a virtualization technology that is built into the Linux kernel. It allows multiple virtual machines to run on a single physical host, each with its own virtualized hardware, including CPU, memory, storage, and network interfaces.

KVM is part of the Linux kernel and is included in most Linux distributions. It is an open-source technology widely used for server virtualization, cloud computing, and other virtualization use cases. KVM supports various guest operating systems, including Linux and Windows.

Overall, KVM is a powerful virtualization solution that provides high performance, scalability, and flexibility for running multiple virtual machines on a single physical host.
