How to reboot your dedicated server via WHM?

How to reboot your dedicated server via WHM?

The WHM panel provides two options for a server reboot:

    Forceful Server Reboot
    Graceful Server Reboot

The recommended option is Graceful Reboot. This way the reboot will be queued, and when all services are stopped the server will be restarted.

In a case there is a very high load on the server, the Graceful Reboot might not be sufficient. Then you will need to use the Forceful Server Reboot option.

      Hi,
Thanks for this infomation about reboot dedicated server via WHM.
But when my server load goes to 80+ then this solution won't work for me.

So i decided to restart server via SSH(command line) that's why i am adding this information here.
You have to login to your SSH and then run this command to reboot your server.

      Code:
      apachectl restart

If your dedicated server is not responding or you need to reboot it, you can do via WHM.

          1. Log in to WHM and select the Servers tab to reboot your server. Under the node for your dedicated server, click on the button.

          2. It will open the Server Properties dialog box. In the dialog box, click on the tab.

          3. You will see a list of all your server nodes.

          4. Select the node that you want to reboot and click on the button. It will open the Reboot Node dialog box.

          5. In this box, you can specify how long you want the server to reboot and whether or not you want WHM to restart all of the nodes' services. Click on the button to reboot the node.
