Describe EMD and PMD

I don't know what exactly EMD and PMD mean in Domain and how they differ from each other.

Can someone clarify the differences between EMD and PMD and which is the best strategy that helps me with my SEO?

EMD refers to the Exact match domain name. In search engine optimization (SEO), an exact match domain is a domain name that matches a keyword or phrase people use to search for a product, service, or topic online.

For example, if "webhostingtalk.com" was an exact match domain, it would likely rank higher for the keyword "web hosting talk" than a website with a different domain name.

On the other hand, PMD, which refers to a partial match domain, domain name combines the main keyword with a few additional words. It contains your keyword and other words that define your company/industry.

For example, the Domain name Includes the keyword "Hosting" but not the exact phrase "web hosting talk." A partial match domain name.

You can, however, still rank well against domain names that are exact matches. However, if there is intense competition for a ranking and numerous sites compete for attention, an exact or partial match domain can provide you an advantage. But, in the end, it all boils down to the quality of your website and content.
