    Your website might be infected or exploited. For quick turn around, your control panel and FTP password might be changed by hosting technical support. Consult them and verify.

      To set the permissions on your web pages in Fetch 3 or 4, open a connection to the computer where you edit your web page. Then follow these steps:

      1. Highlight the directory or file for which you would like to set permissions.

      2. From the Remote menu, select Set Permissions... .

      3. To set permissions for a directory, from the dialog box that appears, select the following:

      * "Owner:" Read, Write, Search/Execute
      * "Group:" Read, Search/Execute
      * "Everyone:" Read, Search/Execute

      4. To set permissions for a file, from the dialog box that appears, select:

      * "Owner:" Read, Write, Search/Execute
      * "Group:" Read
      * "Everyone:" Read

        Hi,

        Yes, most likely your ability to connect to the server and the fact that your site is down are connected. You should contact your hosting provider (the people who run the server that you are trying to connect to) and ask them for help with the problem.

        Thanks,

            A shortcut is the name of a connection setting which saves all of your personal Fetch information. You would select this profile name so you do not need to reenter connection information everytime you use Fetch. To create a shortcut,
