Free Hosting Account Migration Procedure & Terms

• If you intend to leave your present hosting provider, but still have a paid contract, we are willing to compensate you up to six unused months by applying up to a six month credit to your new hosting account. For example, when you sign up for a yearly plan with AccuWebHosting.com, and you already have an existing plan with an alternate provider that you will be terminating, we will add up to 6 free months to your yearly plan (depending on the unused months of your existing plan). All we will require is an acceptable document from your existing provider that clearly indicates the expiration date of your existing hosting plan. In absence of this document, NO compensation of unused months will be offered. The documents of acceptable proof may be any of the following: (i) Statement showing the charge for prepaid hosting (ii) welcome email from previous host showing start and end period of your hosting plan length (iii) payment receipt showing start date and the plan length.
• This free account transfer offer applies to those who purchase any of our Windows or Linux Plans displayed on our home page.
• This offer is applicable only to those who purchase any plan minimum for one year.
• No reseller or Affiliates are eligible to avail this offer.
• The customer must provide proof that the account being transferred was registered with a previous host for more than 30 days.
• The customer must initiate this free transfer request within 7 days of initial sign up.
• In order to avail this free account transfer offer, the customer must email our technical department at support@accuwebhosting.com and provide the ftp, Control Panel Login details, Database Login details, and database export tools that are provided by the previous host. This will ensure a speedy transfer process. Also the customer will have to provide all the required assistance with regard to contacting his/her previous hosting provider in the event of any technical problem. In all such cases it will be the sole responsibility of the customer to coordinate with his previous hosting provider and obtain all the requested details for our technical department to properly transfer the account.
• For Linux Services: We can transfer your account with all your content from your existing service provider. This includes (i) Max. 5 MySQL Database (ii) Web Content and (iii) Email only. Any other special server based services being availed from your existing hosting service provider will not be included. C-Panel Version must be 4.5 or greater. We do not offer this services for any c-panel version lower than 4.5. If the current version of c-panel of your previous hosting provider is different than that of AccuWebHosting.com, then Email Accounts and FTP Accounts may not be successfully transferred. Also in this case, the Subdomains, Addon Domains and parked domains shall have to be recreated/reconfigured by the customer.
• For Windows Services: We can transfer your account with all your content, except your emails and all the content in your webmail interface (including but not limited to inbox, contacts, calendar, etc.), from your existing service provider. This includes only (i) Web Content (ii) Max. 2 MS SQL Database. Any other special server based services being availed from your existing hosting service provider will not be included.
• Important: Please note that you will need to leave your account active with your existing hosting provider until your account is completely transferred to AccuWebhosting.com and your domain is pointed to our services.
• While we shall try our best to transfer your account successfully with due care, we do not take any responsibility whatsoever form for any possible loss or damage to your web content, database or emails. It is highly recommended that the customer retain a local backup of all services, including web content, email, databases, etc. Please note that the account transfer service being provided to you is complimentary and only out of business courtesy and does NOT carry any sort of responsibility to AccuWebHosting.com in whatsoever form. Moreover, under following circumstances your account transfer guarantee cannot be given:
  1. If the website uses a different database version.
  2. If the website uses a different PHP Version than the one we currently use
  3. If the website uses a different server setup than the one we have with us
  4. If the server of the previous host continuously experiences time outs during the transfer
• Once you sign up with us please fill out the transfer form and agree with our terms of transfer and we will be happy to transfer your website for you. Do not forget to include as much account details with your existing hosting provider as possible. This will help us to complete this transfer successfully.
• Account Transfer Time: Please note that this may take around 72 hours time for your account transfer to take place.
• AccuWebHosting.com reserves the right to refuse any account transfer request at its sole discretion.
