Sub Domain

Question: What do people generally use the subdomain for ? Can the Subdomain has it's own FTP account and it's own e-mail account. If yes, How do I set them in helm control panel ( reseller package) ?
Ans: Suppose you have setup directory “product” under “wwwroot” folder. Now if you want to access it using http://product.yourdomainname.com instead of http://www.yourdomainname.com/product , you need to setup subdomain from the  Helm.
 
Note that you can’t have email account for subdomain. But you can setup FTP account for subdomain. While creating the FTP account, select the folder with the same name as your subdomain name by clicking on the FTP folder icon.
