GoDaddy (godaddy.com), a domain name registrar, announced industry-leading growth in sites secured by their SSL Certificates.

According to Netcraft, GoDaddy.com surged in Secure Certificate sales during the month of April, adding more than all other public Certificate Authorities and Web hosting companies. Go Daddys SSL Certificates secured 2,937 new sites in April. In their hosting infrastructure, Go Daddy(R) grew by 1,015 SSL-enabled sites, more than double the total of the next-best performers.
